Scrub a dub dub... one dog in the tub!

Poor little rubybooby... she was looking a little tattered and torn since being at our house. Maybe it has to do with her encounters with Little Mo or her extended periods of stay out side. But her curls were no longer curls and she was beginning to smell like a dog so I decided to give her a bath... In Quinn's tub! I couldn't find her shampoo so I used Quinn's American Crew soap and now she looks like a precious little princess.

I don't think she really liked the bath all to well... but she did like drying off.

Green Thumb

I woke up this morning and thought to my self... Today is a great day to pick some strawberries. So I walked out to my backyard and picked and picked. It was amazing to think that my mom grew these and now I got the pleasure of reaping her rewards. I picked for a good half hour and there are still hundreds out there that aren't quite ripe. But while I was enjoying mother nature I remembered a distinct memory of my older sister three summers ago.

Angie decided to garden.
Ever since I was little I remember my mom having a garden. She also had three girls and none of us picked it up. We would always start our own gardens and then halfway through the summer my mom was the one taking care of it.
I stood starring out the window at my nineteen year old sister Angie on all fours bent over my mothers espargus garden thinking... thats weird I haven't seen Angie work outside in... well forever. As I watched what she was doing I realized that one by one Angie grabbed an espargus plant and then ripped it out of the ground. I watched as she pulled the second and placed it into her growing pile.

"Mom... what's Angie doing?"
My mom walked over and peered out. When she realized what Angie was doing to her poor little garden she rushed outside and asked Angie what she thought she was doing.
"I pulling weeds mom!"

Everybody Clap Your Hands!!!!

Humor is a funny thing... everyone’s own sense of comic relief is different. Angie's and mine are quite alike... very unique. Some might say that it’s an acquired taste (dad...) but she thinks I am funny and I find her to be hilarious. Over Thanksgiving I spent nine glorious days with her. With her upcoming departure to the underworld I decided to take a little trip down memory lane and look through the pictures we snapped while I was invading her house.

Picture Locations (in order):

Angie's apartment

Macy's at the mall

Angie's apartment

Angie waiting for me.... at her apartment
Angie's apartment

Angie waiting for me outside the Chili's restaurant stall

Chili's restaurant

And lastly and Angie's apartment once again
As I was saying before an aquired taste for our humor is sometimes needed. Angie a 22 year old almost senior at BYU found it amusing to take pictures of me leaving the restroom when I least expected it even when we were in public. I believe that my dear sister was doing this heinous act to boost my self esteem and to capture on film the accomplishment that I had just achieved!

Jeepers...Creepers...

So one of the funniest things that has happened to us this semester was when Cutie Mike came to ask out Courtney. We were all so excited so... I decided to video tape the event! It somewhat back fired when Mike's roommate found the camera and caught us! Brittany quickly covered it up by telling them that we video tape everyone that comes over! Courtney had the time of her life on her date and we are all crossing our fingers that something BIG happens soon between them... because we all know that it is so so special and that it is really real.

AHHH.... A TWISTER!

One thing I really don't miss from New Mexico is the wind.. and all the dirt. You know what I'm talking about... when it gets so windy that you just put your head in your hands and try not to look up, talk, breath, or open your eyes because you know as soon as you do any of those openings will instantly be coated with a thick layer of sand. I remember in highschool walking from class to class in dust storms and then sitting down to trying to untangle my hair, wiping my eyes and blowing my nose to find a sandy mucus in the tissue all the while hoping that the cute boy sitting accross the room wasn't watching. ahh... Well I thought moving up to Idaho would be different the wind would be gone and I would never have to worry about a messy dew again, but I was wrong. The wind just follows me where ever I go. But one good thing about it here is that there is no dirt or tumble weeds that we have to worry about. We also make it fun, yesterday Brittany took some pictues of Bonka and I in the windy weather. Check em out.
